In 1992, while doing research for a cosmetic cream that leaves the skin feeling silky smooth, a silicone formulation with extraordinary lubricating properties was discovered. And in 1996, a cooperation was founded in the USA. Since then, Pjur (pronounced ‘pure’) and its affiliates have sold more than 70 million bottles in over 50 countries.
